  • What Happens In Worship?

We usually start our time of worship together by singing.  After we sing, one of our pastors will teach from the Bible.  If you didn’t bring a Bible with you, and you’d like to follow along, you’ll find one on the rack underneath one of the chairs in front of you.  If you need a Bible, feel free to take a Bible home with you.  After the Bible teaching, we usually sing some more.  After worship, feel free to hang around, ask questions, or just relax.  You may find yourself wanting to be more connected with God and with what’s going on at New River.  We believe Jesus came to initiate relationship with Him, not to be religious, so we emphasize connection and relationships.
