At New River, we encourage everyone to serve. We have many opportunities for you to serve, but all of them are strategic. We don’t sit around and dream up ways to keep people busy, but we spend time prayerfully and strategically evaluating ways that people can most effectively serve.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
One way we serve is by bringing meals to those who are ill, just had a baby, or have some other crisis in their family life. We also host bridal and baby showers for our members. Even if you don't like to cook, you can still bring a pizza or a bucket of fried chicken or a pan of brownies!

KIDZ KOVE
Nursery - Newborn to 2 years (24 months)
Provide safe and nurturing environment for infants through 24 months. Change diapers and feed babies as needed. Must be able to lift 20 lbs and play on the floor. Two adults per room per service.
Preschool - 2 years to 5 (until Kindergarten)
Two adults per service per room. Each has the following role....
Lead Teacher: Leads children in preplanned activities and preplanned Bible Stories provided by Kidz Kove Director which also includes craft, music, snack, and free playtime.
Support Teacher: Help lead teacher by encouraging students to pay attention, playing with them during free time and taking them on potty breaks. Helps serve snack durng class time.
